The Prayer Clinic is a sensitization to believers to stand and pray. Contrary to current trends where believers rely more on pastors for prayers, this service is a practical turn to God in prayer. The 2-hour Saturday sessions which begins from 6:00am has become a hub of miracles and testimonies.
The Clinic targets Christians all over Accra who do not have enough time to pray for reasons such as busy work schedules.
The 6:00am start time, is strategic to allow for even believers who still work on Saturdays , or have other engagements on Saturdays to still find some time to pray. ‘We must definitely pray’, (1Thessalonians 5:17) ‘I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath or doubting.’ (1Timothy 2:8)
The word ‘Clinic’ is a call to Healing; - healing of our prayer lives, healing of our physical bodies, healing of our relationship with God, healing of our nation, mental healing, and emotional healing etc. ‘If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.’ (2Chronicles 7:14)
Rev. Emmanuel Oko Mensah of the Sweet Melodies FM Station 'Breaking the Chains' fame is the Pastor in charge of this service. He is assisted by seasoned Reverend Ministers and together they counsel members who need counseling during the counseling time after the service.
God can heal our land. God can touch our lives. God can turn that situation around. We have to humble ourselves and pray. Come and let us pray together. Come to the Prayer Clinic. You will never be the same again.
